## SEC. 541 ###
(a)If the reporting requirement set forth in paragraph
(2)under the heading “Federal Emergency Management Agency—Disaster Relief Fund” in the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2015 (Public Law 114-4), as applied in this fiscal year by section 306 of this Act, is not submitted to the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Senate and published on the Agency’s website not later than the fifth business day of the applicable month, the amount made available for “Office of the Secretary and Executive Management—Operations and Support—Management and Oversight” shall be reduced by $100,000 for each day such report is not submitted and published on the Agency’s website. ###
(b)During any period in which the total number of requests for reimbursement for a covered expense for individual assistance or public assistance related to emergency (42 U.S.C. 5122(1)) or major disaster (42 U.S.C. 5122(2)) declarations under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq.) that the Department of Homeland Security has been considering under final review for greater than 60 days exceeds 500, the amount made available for “Office of the Secretary and Executive Management—Operations and Support—Management and Oversight” shall be reduced by $100,000 for each day during such period on which the cumulative total of requests over 60 days in final review exceeds 500. ###
(c)Subsection
(b)shall not apply if the balance of funding for the Disaster Relief Fund is sufficient only for the purpose of obligating funds for activities determined to be lifesaving or life-sustaining.
