## SEC. 871 PILOT PROGRAM FOR THE PARTICIPATION OF MILITARY RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE STTR PROGRAM Section 9 of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 638) is amended by adding at the end the following: > > ### “(yy) Pilot Program for the Participation of Military Research and Educational Institutions in the STTR Program > > > #### “(1) In general > > Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this subsection, the Secretary of Defense shall establish a pilot program to enable any undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree-granting military research or educational institution established under title 10, United States Code, to participate in the STTR program of the Department of Defense. > > > #### “(2) Sunset > > The authority to carry out the pilot program under this subsection shall end on September 30, 2025.” > .
