## SEC. 837 MODIFICATIONS TO CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEE PROTECTIONS FROM REPRISAL FOR DISCLOSURE OF CERTAIN INFORMATION Section 4701(c) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)by redesignating paragraphs (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), and
(7)as paragraphs (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), and (8), respectively; ####
(2)by inserting after paragraph
(1)the following new paragraph: > > #### “(2) > > Not later than 30 days after receiving an Inspector General report pursuant to subsection (b), the head of the agency concerned shall notify the complainant and the Inspector General, in writing, of either the actions ordered or the decision to deny relief. After such notification, if the head of the agency concerned changes the actions ordered or the decision to deny relief, the head of the agency concerned shall notify the complainant and the Inspector General, in writing, of the change not later than 30 days after the change occurs.” > ; ####
(3)in paragraph (3), as redesignated by paragraph
(1)of this section, by striking “paragraph (b)(2)(B)” and inserting “paragraph (2)(B) of such subsection”; and ####
(4)in paragraph (4), as so redesignated, by striking “paragraph (2)” and inserting “paragraph (3)”.
