## SEC. 641 PROHIBITION ON SALE OF GARLIC FROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA AT COMMISSARY STORES ###
(a)In General Section 2484 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: > > ### “(l) Prohibition on Sale of Garlic From People’s Republic of China > > The Secretary of Defense shall prohibit the sale at any commissary store of fresh or chilled garlic— > > > #### “(1) > > classified under subheading 0703.20.00 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States; and > > > #### “(2) > > that originated from, or was processed in, the People’s Republic of China.” > . ###
(b)Effective Date The amendment made by subsection
(a)shall take effect on January 1, 2026.
