## SEC. 1623 PERIODIC UPDATES ON THE MODERNIZATION OF THE STRATEGIC AUTOMATED COMMAND AND CONTROL SYSTEM Section 1644 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 (Public Law 118–31; 137 Stat. 598) is amended by adding at the end the following subsection: > > ### “(c) Periodic Updates > > Beginning not later than March 1, 2025, and not later than each of March 1 and September 1 annually thereafter, the Secretary of the Air Force shall provide to the congressional defense committees a briefing on the progress of the modernization effort described in subsection (a).” > .
