## SEC. 1228 EXTENSION AND MODIFICATION OF SECURITY BRIEFINGS ON AFGHANISTAN Section 1092 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 (Public Law 117–81; 135 Stat. 1934) is amended— ####
(1)in subsection (a), by striking “Not later than January 15, 2022, and every 90 days thereafter through December 31, 2025,” and inserting “Not later than January 15, 2025, and every 120 days thereafter through December 31, 2026,”; and ####
(2)in subsection (b)— #####
(A)by redesignating paragraph
(11)as paragraph (12); and #####
(B)by inserting after paragraph
(10)the following new paragraph: > > #### “(11) > > The extent to which the Department of Defense is tracking and monitoring the equipment the Taliban recovered from the Afghan National Security Forces, an assessment of how such equipment being used by the Taliban, and the operational readiness of such equipment.” > .
