## SEC. 1051 AUTHORITY TO CONTRIBUTE TO INNOVATION FUND Subchapter II of chapter 138 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section: > > ## “SEC. 2350s Authority to contribute to innovation fund > > > ### “(a) Authority to Contribute to NATO Innovation Fund > > Within amounts authorized by law for such purpose during the five-year period following the date of the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025, the Secretary of Defense may contribute to the NATO Innovation Fund a total amount of no more than $200,000,000. > > > ### “(b) Definitions > > In this section: > > > #### “(1) > > The term ‘NATO’ means the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. > > > #### “(2) > > The term ‘NATO Innovation Fund’ means the multi-sovereign, investment venture capital fund of NATO that provides secure investment in dual-use, high-impact technology.” > .
