## SEC. 1359 CONGRESSIONAL NOTIFICATION OF DEFERRED PAYMENT AGREEMENT REQUEST Section 103(k) of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 (33 U.S.C. 2213(k)) is amended by adding at the end the following: > > #### “(5) Congressional notification > > > ##### “(A) In general > > Upon receipt of a request for a renegotiation of terms by a non-Federal interest under paragraph (2), the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House and the Committee on Environment and Public Works of the Senate a report 30 days after enactment and quarterly thereafter regarding the status of the request. > > > ##### “(B) Sense of congress > > It is the sense of Congress that the Secretary should respond to any request for a renegotiation of terms submitted under paragraph
(2)in a timely manner.” > .
