## SEC. 1133 FUNDING TO PROCESS PERMITS Section 214(a) of the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 (33 U.S.C. 2352(a)) is amended— ####

(1)in paragraph (1), by adding at the end the following: > > ##### “(D) Indian tribe > > The term ‘Indian Tribe’ means— > > > ###### “(i) > > an Indian Tribe, as such term is defined in section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (25 U.S.C. 5304); and > > > ###### “(ii) > > any entity formed under the authority of one or more Indian Tribes, as so defined.” > ; ####

(2)in paragraph (2)— #####

(A)by inserting “Indian Tribe,” after “public-utility company,” each place it appears; and #####

(B)in subparagraph (A), by inserting “, including an aquatic ecosystem restoration project” before the period at the end; and ####

(3)by striking paragraph (4).
