## SEC. 842 DISQUALIFICATION OF RETAILERS WHO INTENTIONALLY SUBMIT FALSIFIED APPLICATIONS Section 12(b) of the Food Stamp Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 2021(b)) is amended— ####
(1)in paragraph (2), by striking “and” at the end; ####
(2)in paragraph (3), by striking the period at the end and inserting “; and”; and ####
(3)by adding at the end the following: > > #### “(4) > > for a reasonable period of time to be determined by the Secretary, including permanent disqualification, on the knowing submission of an application for the approval or reauthorization to accept and redeem coupons that contains false information about a substantive matter that was a part of the application.” > .
