## SEC. 820 DISQUALIFICATION FOR RECEIPT OF MULTIPLE FOOD STAMP BENEFITS Section 6 of the Food Stamp Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 2015), as amended by section 819, is amended by adding at the end the following: > > ### “(j) Disqualification for Receipt of Multiple Food Stamp Benefits > > An individual shall be ineligible to participate in the food stamp program as a member of any household for a 10-year period if the individual is found by a State agency to have made, or is convicted in a Federal or State court of having made, a fraudulent statement or representation with respect to the identity or place of residence of the individual in order to receive multiple benefits simultaneously under the food stamp program.” > .
