## SEC. 820 FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATES **[**[49 U.S.C. 44939 note](/us/usc/t49/s44939)**]** Not later than 18 months after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall issue a final rule for the rulemaking activity titled “Removal of the Expiration Date on a Flight Instructor Certificate”, published in Fall 2022 in the Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions (RIN 2120-AL25) to, at a minimum, update part 61 of title 14, Code of Federal Regulations, to— ####
(1)remove the expiration date on a flight instructor certificate; and ####
(2)replace the requirement that a flight instructor renews their flight instructor certificate with appropriate recent experience requirements for the holder of a flight instructor certificate to exercise the privileges of such certificate.
