## SEC. 507 INCREASE IN CIVIL PENALTIES ###

(a)In General Section 46301(a)(1) of title 49, United States Code, is amended in the matter preceding subparagraph

(A)by striking “$25,000” and inserting “$75,000”. ###

(b)Effective Date **[**[49 U.S.C. 46301 note](/us/usc/t49/s46301)**]** The amendment made by subsection

(a)shall apply to violations occurring on or after the date of enactment of this Act. ###

(c)Conforming Regulations **[**[49 U.S.C. 46301 note](/us/usc/t49/s46301)**]** The Secretary shall revise such regulations as necessary to conform to the amendment made by subsection (a).
