## SEC. 404 ###
(a)Not later than 45 days after the date of enactment of this division, the Secretary of State, in consultation with the heads of other relevant Federal agencies, as appropriate, shall brief the appropriate congressional committees, in classified form, if necessary, on the status and welfare of hostages being held in Gaza. ###
(b)For purposes of this section, the term “appropriate congressional committees” means the following: ####
(1)The Committees on Appropriations, Armed Services, and Foreign Relations of the Senate. ####
(2)The Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate. ####
(3)The Committees on Appropriations, Armed Services, and Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives. ####
(4)The Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives.
