## SEC. 8119 ###

(a)The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, in coordination with the Secretaries of the military departments and the Chiefs of the Armed Forces, shall submit to the congressional defense committees, not later than 30 days after the last day of each quarter of the fiscal year, a report on the use of operation and maintenance funds for activities or exercises in excess of $5,000,000 that have been designated by the Secretary of Defense as unplanned activities for fiscal year 2024. ###

(b)Each report required by subsection

(a)shall also include— ####

(1)the title, date, and location, of each activity and exercise covered by the report; ####

(2)an identification of the military department and units that participated in each such activity or exercise (including an estimate of the number of participants); ####

(3)the total cost of the activity or exercise, by budget line item (with a breakdown by cost element such as transportation); and ####

(4)a short explanation of the objective of the activity or exercise. ###

(c)The report required by subsection

(a)shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex.
