## SEC. 767 **[**[5 U.S.C. 5547 note](/us/usc/t5/s5547)**]** If services performed by APHIS employees are determined by the Administrator of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service to be in response to an animal disease outbreak, any premium pay that is funded, either directly or through reimbursement, shall be exempted from the aggregate of basic pay and premium pay calculated under section 5547 of title 5, United States Code, and any other provision of law limiting the aggregate amount of premium pay payable on a biweekly or calendar year basis: * Provided,*That this section shall take effect as if enacted on January 1, 2023.
