## SEC. 23 INCLUSION OF COUNTERNARCOTICS IN DEFINITION OF FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE **[**[50 U.S.C. 1801](/us/usc/t50/s1801)**]** Section 101(e)(1) is amended— ####
(1)in subparagraph (B), by striking “; or” and inserting a semicolon; and ####
(2)by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: > > ##### “(D) > > international production, distribution, or financing of illicit synthetic drugs, opioids, cocaine, or other drugs driving overdose deaths, or precursors of any aforementioned; or” > .
