## SEC. 1803 MODIFICATION TO REQUIREMENTS RELATING TO COMBATING MILITARY RELIANCE ON RUSSIAN ENERGY **[**[10 U.S.C. 2911 note](/us/usc/t10/s2911)**]** Section 1086 of the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 (Public Law 117-263) is amended— ####
(1)in subsection (a)(2), by striking “main operating bases” and inserting “operating bases”; and ####
(2)in each of subsections
(b)and (g), by striking “main operating base” each place it appears and inserting “operating base”; ####
(3)in subsection (c)— #####
(A)in the subsection heading, by striking “Main”; #####
(B)by striking paragraph
(1)and inserting the following new paragraph (1): > > #### “(1) Identification of installations > > The Secretary of Defense shall submit to the congressional defense committees a list of operating bases within the area of responsibility of the United States European Command ranked according to mission criticality and vulnerability to energy disruption as follows: > > > ##### “(A) > > In the case of a main operating base, by not later than June 1, 2023. > > > ##### “(B) > > In the case of any operating base other than a main operating base, by not later than June 1, 2024.” > ; and #####
