## SEC. 1202 MODIFICATION OF COMBATANT COMMANDER INITIATIVE FUND ###
(a)In General Section 166a of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)in subsection (b), by adding at the end the following: > > #### “(11) > > Incremental expenses (as such term is defined in section 301(5) of this title) related to security cooperation programs and activities of the Department of Defense (as such term is defined in section 301(7) of this title).” > ; and ####
(2)in subsection (c)— #####
(A)in paragraph (2), by striking “and” at the end; #####
(B)in paragraph (3), by striking the period at the end and inserting “; and”; and #####
(C)by adding at the end the following: > > #### “(4) > > incremental expenses related to security cooperation programs and activities of the Department of Defense, as authorized by subsection (b)(11), for United States Africa Command and United States Southern Command.” > . ###
(b)Authorization of Appropriations Funds are authorized to be appropriated to the Combatant Commander Initiative Fund for fiscal year 2024, as specified in section 4301 of this Act, to carry out the activities authorized by paragraphs (7), (8), and
(11)(as added by subsection (a)(1)) of section 166a(b) of title 10, United States Code, for United States Africa Command and United States Southern Command.
