## SEC. 2316 SUNSET DATES ###
(a)Authorization **[**[21 U.S.C. 379j-21 note](/us/usc/t21/s379j-21)**]** Section 741 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 379j-21) shall cease to be effective October 1, 2028. ###
(b)Reporting Requirements **[**[21 U.S.C. 379j-22 note](/us/usc/t21/s379j-22)**]** Section 742 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 379j- 22) shallcease to be effective January 31, 2029. ###
(c)Previous Sunset Provision **[**[21 U.S.C. 379j-21 note](/us/usc/t21/s379j-21) [21 U.S.C. 379j-21 note](/us/usc/t21/s379j-21)**]** Effective October 1, 2023, subsections
(a)and
(b)of section 206 of the Animal Generic Drug User Fee Amendments of 2018 (Public Law 115-234) are repealed. ## Subtitle B Public Health Extenders
