## SEC. 9706 INTERNATIONAL BROADCASTING ACTIVITIES Section 305(a) of the United States International Broadcasting Act of 1994 (22 U.S.C. 6204(a)) is amended— ####

(1)in paragraph (1), by striking “direct and”; ####

(2)by striking paragraph (20); ####

(3)by redesignating paragraphs (21), (22), and

(23)as paragraphs (20), (21), and (22), respectively; and ####

(4)in paragraph (22), as redesignated, by striking “and to condition grants” and all that follows and inserting a period.
