## SEC. 9703 LIMITATION ON UNITED STATES CONTRIBUTIONS TO PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS NOT AUTHORIZED BY THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL **[**[22 U.S.C. 287e-4](/us/usc/t22/s287e-4)**]** The United Nations Participation Act of 1945 (22 U.S.C. 287 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following: > > ## “SEC. 12 LIMITATION ON UNITED STATES CONTRIBUTIONS TO PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS NOT AUTHORIZED BY THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL > > “None of the funds authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available to pay assessed and other expenses of international peacekeeping activities under this Act may be made available for an international peacekeeping operation that has not been expressly authorized by the United Nations Security Council.” > .
