## SEC. 820 EXTENSION AND MODIFICATION OF NEVER CONTRACT WITH THE ENEMY Subtitle E of title VIII of the Carl Levin and Howard P. “Buck” McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 (Public Law 113-291; 10 U.S.C. 4871note prec.) is amended— ####
(1)in section 841— #####
(A)in subsection (i)(1)— ######
(i)in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking “2016, 2017, and 2018” and inserting “2023, and annually thereafter”; and ######
(ii)by adding at the end the following new subparagraphs: > > ##### “(C) > > Specific examples where the authorities under this section can not be used to mitigate national security threats posed by vendors supporting Department operations because of the restriction on using such authorities only with respect to contingency operations. > > > ##### “(D) > > A description of the policies ensuring that oversight of the use of the authorities in this section is effectively carried out by a single office in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment.” > ; and #####
(B)in subsection (n), by striking “December 31, 2023” and inserting “December 31, 2025”; and ####
(2)in section 842(b)(1), by striking “2016, 2017, and 2018” and inserting “2023, 2024, and 2025”.
