## SEC. 731 BRIEFING AND REPORT ON REDUCTION OR REALIGNMENT OF MILITARY MEDICAL MANNING AND MEDICAL BILLETS Section 731(a)(2)(A) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 (Public Law 117-81; 135 Stat. 1796) is amended to read as follows: > > ##### “(A) Briefing; report > > The Comptroller General of the United States shall— > > > ###### “(i) > > not later than February 1, 2023, provide to the Committees on Armed Services of the House of Representatives and the Senate a briefing on preliminary observations regarding the analyses used to support any reduction or realignment of military medical manning, including any reduction or realignment of medical billets of the military departments; and > > > ###### “(ii) > > not later than May 31, 2023, submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the House of Representatives and the Senate a report on such analyses.” > .
