## SEC. 6609 DEFINITIONS REGARDING WHISTLEBLOWER COMPLAINTS AND INFORMATION OF URGENT CONCERN RECEIVED BY INSPECTORS GENERAL OF THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY ###
(a)National Security Act of 1947 Section 103H(k)(5)(G)(i)(I) of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 3033(k)(5)(G)(i)(I)) is amended by striking “ within the ” and all that follows through “ policy matters. ” and inserting the following: > “of the Federal Government that is— > > > ###### “(aa) > > a matter of national security; and > > > ###### “(bb) > > not a difference of opinion concerning public policy matters.” > . ###
(b)Inspector General Act of 1978 Section 8H(h)(1)(A)(i) of the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) is amended by striking “ involving ” and all that follows through “ policy matters. ” and inserting the following: > “of the Federal Government that is— > > > ###### “(I) > > a matter of national security; and > > > ###### “(II) > > not a difference of opinion concerning public policy matters.” > . ###
