## SEC. 593 CLARIFICATION OF AUTHORITY OF NCMAF TO UPDATE CHAPLAINS HILL AT ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY Section 584(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 (Public Law 117-81; 38 U.S.C. 2409 note) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: > > #### “(4) Authority of secretary of the army > > The Secretary of the Army may permit NCMAF to carry out any action authorized by this subsection without regard to the time limitation under section 2409(b)(2)(C) of title 38, United States Code.” > .
