## SEC. 5122 COMPETITIVE PAY FOR HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS OF DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS Section 7451(c) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: > > #### “(4) > > > #####
(A)> > The director of each medical center of the Department shall submit to the Secretary an annual locality pay survey and rates of basic pay for covered positions at such medical center to ensure that pay rates remain competitive in the local labor market. > > > ##### “(B) > > Not less than once per fiscal year, the Secretary shall submit to the Committees on Veterans’ Affairs of the House of Representatives and the Senate a report on rates of basic pay for covered positions at medical centers of the Department.” > .
