## SEC. 342 INCREASE OF TRANSFER AUTHORITY FOR FUNDING OF STUDY AND ASSESSMENT ON HEALTH IMPLICATIONS OF PER- AND POLYFLUOROALKYL SUBSTANCES CONTAMINATION IN DRINKING WATER BY AGENCY FOR TOXIC SUBSTANCES AND DISEASE REGISTRY Section 316(a)(2)(B) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 (Public Law 115-91; 131 Stat. 1350), as amended by section 315(a) of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 (Public Law 115-232; 132 Stat. 1713), section 321 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 (Public Law 116-92; 133 Stat. 1307), section 337 of the William M.
(Mac)Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 (Public Law 116-283; 134 Stat. 3533), and section 342 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 (Public Law 117-81; 135 Stat. 1643), is further amended— ####
(1)in clause (ii), by striking “2023” and inserting “2022”; and ####
(2)by adding at the end the following new clause: > > ###### “(iii) > > Without regard to section 2215 of title 10, United States Code, the Secretary of Defense may transfer not more than $20,000,000 during fiscal year 2023 to the Secretary of Health and Human Services to pay for the study and assessment required by this section.” > .
