## SEC. 3114 UPDATE TO PLAN FOR DEACTIVATION AND DECOMMISSIONING OF NONOPERATIONAL DEFENSE NUCLEAR FACILITIES Section 4423 of the Atomic Energy Defense Act (50 U.S.C. 2603) is amended— ####

(1)in subsection (a), by striking “during each even-numbered year beginning in 2016”; and inserting “every four years beginning in 2025”; ####

(2)in subsection (c)— #####

(A)by striking “2016” and inserting “2025”; #####

(B)by striking “2019” and inserting “2029”; and #####

(C)by striking “determines—” and all that follows and inserting “determines are nonoperational as of September 30, 2024.”; ####

(3)in subsection (d)— #####

(A)by striking “Not later than March 31 of each even-numbered year beginning in 2016” and inserting “Not later than March 31, 2025, and every four years thereafter,”; #####

(B)by striking “submitting during 2016” and inserting “submitted during 2025”; and #####

(C)by striking paragraph

(4)and inserting the following new paragraph: > > #### “(4) > > a description of the deactivation and decommissioning actions taken at each nonoperational defense nuclear facility during the period following the date on which the previous report required by this section was submitted.” > ; and ####

(4)in subsection (e), by striking “2026” and inserting “2033”.
