## SEC. 157 ###
(a)The remaining unobligated balances, as of September 30, 2022, from amounts made available for “Department of Transportation—Office of the Secretary—National Infrastructure Investments” in title I of division H of the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020 (Public Law 116-94) are hereby permanently rescinded, and in addition to amounts otherwise provided by section 101, an amount of additional new budget authority equivalent to the amount rescinded pursuant to this subsection is hereby appropriated on September 30, 2022, for an additional amount for fiscal year 2022, to remain available until September 30, 2023, and shall be available, without additional competition, for completing the funding of awards made pursuant to the fiscal year 2020 national infrastructure investments program, in addition to other funds as may be available for such purposes. ###
(b)The remaining unobligated balances, as of September 30, 2022, from amounts made available to the Department of Transportation in section 105 of division L of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (Public Law 116-260) are hereby permanently rescinded, and in addition to amounts otherwise provided by section 101, an amount of additional new budget authority equivalent to the amount rescinded pursuant to this subsection is hereby appropriated on September 30, 2022, for an additional amount for fiscal year 2022, to remain available until September 30, 2023, and shall be available, without additional competition, for completing the funding of awards made pursuant to the fiscal year 2019 national infrastructure investments program, in addition to other funds as may be available for such purposes. ###
(c)####
(1)Subject to paragraph (2), this section shall become effective immediately upon enactment of this Act. ####
(2)If this Act is enacted after September 30, 2022, this section shall be applied as if it were in effect on September 30, 2022.
