## SEC. 2306 DISCRETIONARY RESEARCH GRANTS **[**[34 U.S.C. 10496](/us/usc/t34/s10496)**]** The Attorney General may reserve 10 percent of funds to award research grants to a State or local law enforcement agency or organization to study issues of importance in the law enforcement field as determined by the Attorney General.
