## SEC. 8038 **[**[10 U.S.C. 4862 note](/us/usc/t10/s4862)**]** None of the funds made available in this Act, or any subsequent Act making appropriations for the Department of Defense, may be used for the purchase or manufacture of a flag of the United States unless such flags are treated as covered items under section 2533a(b) of title 10, United States Code.
