## SEC. 832 MODIFICATION OF ENHANCED TRANSFER OF TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPED AT DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE LABORATORIES Section 801(e) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014 (10 U.S.C. 2514 note) is amended— ####
(1)by redesignating subsection
(e)as subsection (f); ####
(2)by striking subsection
(d)and inserting the following new subsections: > > ### “(d) Data Collection > > The Secretary of Defense shall develop and implement a plan to collect and analyze data on the use of authority under this section for the purposes of— > > > #### “(1) > > developing and sharing best practices; and > > > #### “(2) > > providing information to the Secretary of Defense and Congress on the use of authority under this section and related policy issues. > > > ### “(e) Report > > The Secretary of Defense shall submit a report to the congressional defense committees on the activities carried out under this section not later than December 31, 2025.” > ; and ####
(3)in subsection
(f)(as so redesignated), by striking “December 31, 2021” and inserting “December 31, 2026”.
