## SEC. 816 LIMITATION ON PROCUREMENT OF WELDED SHIPBOARD ANCHOR AND MOORING CHAIN FOR NAVAL VESSELS Section 2534 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)in subsection (a)(2), by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: > > ##### “(F) > > Welded shipboard anchor and mooring chain.” > ; and ####
(2)in subsection (b)— #####
(A)by striking “A manufacturer” and inserting “(1) Except as provided in paragraph (2), a manufacturer”; and #####
(B)by adding at the end the following new paragraph: > > #### “(2) > > A manufacturer of welded shipboard anchor and mooring chain for naval vessels meets the requirements of this subsection if the manufacturer is part of the national technology and industrial base.” > .
