## SEC. 561 EXPANSION OF SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES PERSONNEL AND IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS Section 1788a(e) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)in paragraph (4), by striking “covered personnel” and inserting “covered individuals”; and ####
(2)in paragraph (5)— #####
(A)by striking “covered personnel” and inserting “covered individuals”; #####
(B)in subparagraph (B), by striking “and” at the end; #####
(C)in subparagraph (C), by striking the period at the end and inserting “; and”; and #####
(D)by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: > > ##### “(D) > > immediate family members of individuals described in subparagraphs
(A)or
(B)in a case in which such individual died— > > > ###### “(i) > > as a direct result of armed conflict; > > > ###### “(ii) > > while engaged in hazardous service; > > > ###### “(iii) > > in the performance of duty under conditions simulating war; or > > > ###### “(iv) > > through an instrumentality of war.” > .
