## SEC. 539B APPLICABILITY TO THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD **[**[10 U.S.C. 801 note](/us/usc/t10/s801)**]** The Secretary of Defense shall consult and enter into an agreement with the Secretary of Homeland Security to apply the provisions of this part and the amendments made by this part, and the policies, mechanisms, and processes established pursuant to such provisions, to the United States Coast Guard when it is operating as a service in the Department of Homeland Security.
