## SEC. 512 PROHIBITION ON PRIVATE FUNDING FOR INTERSTATE DEPLOYMENT OF NATIONAL GUARD ###
(a)Prohibition Chapter 3 of title 32, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section: > > ## “SEC. 329 Prohibition on private funding for interstate deployment > > **[**[32 U.S.C. 329](/us/usc/t32/s329)**]** > > “A member of the National Guard may not be ordered to cross a border of a State to perform duty (under this title or title 10) if such duty is paid for with private funds, unless such duty is in response to a major disaster or emergency under section 401 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5170).” > . ###
(b)Clerical Amendment **[**[32 U.S.C. 301](/us/usc/t32/s301)**]** The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter is amended by adding at the end the following new item:" “329. Prohibition on private funding for interstate deployment.” ".
