## SEC. 1081 TECHNICAL, CONFORMING, AND CLERICAL AMENDMENTS ###

(a)Title 10, United States Code Title 10, United States Code, is amended as follows: ####

(1)**[**[10 U.S.C. 101](/us/usc/t10/s101)**]** The table of chapters at the beginning of part I of subtitle A is amended by striking the item relating to the second chapter 19 (relating to cyber matters). ####

(2)**[**[10 U.S.C. 111](/us/usc/t10/s111)**]** The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 2 is amended by striking the item relating to section 118 and inserting the following new item:" “118. Materiel readiness metrics and objectives for major weapon systems.” ". ####

(3)**[**[10 U.S.C. 111](/us/usc/t10/s111)**]** The second section 118a, as added by section 341 of the William M.

(13)Section 823(a)(2) (article 23(a)(2) of the Uniform Code of Military Justice) is amended by inserting a comma after “Army”. ####

(14)Section 856(b) (article 56(b) of the Uniform Code of Military Justice) is amended by striking “subsection

(34)**[**[10 U.S.C. 8131](/us/usc/t10/s8131) [10 U.S.C. 9401](/us/usc/t10/s9401)**]** The second section 9132 (relating to Regular Air Force and Regular Space Force: reenlistment after service as an officer) is redesignated as section 9138 (and the table of sections at the beginning of chapter 913 is conformed accordingly). ####

(Mac)Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 (Public Law 116-283) is amended— ####

(1)by inserting “(a) In General.—” before “This Act”; and ####

(c)NDAA for Fiscal Year 2020 **[**[50 U.S.C. 4027](/us/usc/t50/s4027)**]** Effective as of December 20, 2019, and as if included therein as enacted, section 1739(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 (Public Law 116-92) is amended by striking “VI” and inserting “VII”. ###

(d)Coordination With Other Amendments Made by This Act **[**[10 U.S.C. 101 note](/us/usc/t10/s101)**]** For purposes of applying amendments made by provisions of this Act other than this section, the amendments made by this section shall be treated as having been enacted immediately before any such amendments by other provisions of this Act.
