## SEC. 50201 RESEARCH, INVESTIGATIONS, TRAINING, AND INFORMATION ###
(a)Reauthorization Section 104(u) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 1254(u)) is amended— ####
(1)by striking “and (7)” and inserting “(7)”; and ####
(2)in paragraph (7)— #####
(A)by striking “2023” and inserting “2021”; and #####
(B)by striking the period at the end and inserting “; and
(8)not to exceed $75,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2022 through 2026 for carrying out subsections (b)(3), (b)(8), and (g), of which not less than $50,000,000 each fiscal year shall be used to carry out subsection (b)(8).”. ###
(b)Communication **[**[33 U.S.C. 1254 note](/us/usc/t33/s1254)**]** Each nonprofit organization that receives funding under paragraph
(8)of section 104(b) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 1254(b)) shall, before using that funding to undertake activities to carry out that paragraph, consult with the State in which the assistance is to be expended or otherwise made available. ###
(c)Report Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall submit to Congress a report that describes the implementation of the grants authorized under subsections (b)(3), (b)(8), and
(g)of section 104 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 1254), which shall include a description of the grant recipients and grant amounts made available to carry out those subsections.
