## SEC. 25004 BUREAU OF TRANSPORTATION STATISTICS ###
(a)Funding In addition to amounts made available from the Highway Trust Fund, there is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary for use by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics for data collection and analysis activities $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2022 through 2026. ###
(b)Amendment Section 6302(b)(3)(B)(vi) of title 49, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)by striking subclause (V); ####
(2)by redesignating subclauses
(VI)through
(XI)as subclauses
(VII)through (XII), respectively; and ####
(3)by adding after subclause
(IV)the following: > > ###### “(V) > > employment in the transportation sector; > > > ###### “(VI) > > the effects of the transportation system, including advanced technologies and automation, on global and domestic economic competitiveness;” > .
