## SEC. 8321 VESSEL SAFETY STANDARDS ###
(a)Fishing Safety Training Grants Program Subsection
(i)of section 4502 of title 46, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)in paragraph (3), by striking “50 percent” and inserting “75 percent”; and ####
(2)in paragraph (4), by striking “2019” and inserting “2021”. ###
(b)Fishing Safety Research Grant Program Subsection
(j)of such section is amended— ####
(1)in paragraph (3), by striking “50 percent” and inserting “75 percent”; and ####
(2)in paragraph (4), by striking “2019” and inserting “2021”. ###
(c)Fishing Safety Grants **[**[46 U.S.C. 4502 note](/us/usc/t46/s4502)**]** The cap on the Federal share of the cost of any activity carried out with a grant under subsections
(i)and
(j)of section 4502 of title 46, United States Code, as in effect prior to the date of enactment of the Frank LoBiondo Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2018, shall apply to any funds appropriated under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2017 (Public Law 115-31) for the purpose of making such grants.
