## SEC. 539F BRIEFING ON PLACEMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES IN ACADEMIC STATUS WHO ARE VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT ONTO NON-RATED PERIODS Not later than 270 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall brief the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives on the feasibility and advisability, and current practice (if any) of the Department of Defense, of granting requests by members of the Armed Forces who are in academic status (whether at the military service academies or in developmental education programs) and who are victims of sexual assault to be placed on a Non-Rated Period for their performance report. ## Subtitle E Military Justice and Other Legal Matters
