## SEC. 316 HOUSING COOPERATIVES Section 7(a)(36) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 636(a)(36)) is amended— ####

(1)in subparagraph (A), as amended by section 315(a) of this Act, by adding at the end the following: > > ###### “(xiv) > > the term ‘housing cooperative’ means a cooperative housing corporation (as defined in section 216(b) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986) that employs not more than 300 employees;” > ; and ####

(2)in subparagraph (D)— #####

(A)in clause (i), by inserting “housing cooperative,” before “veterans organization,” each place it appears; and #####

(B)in clause (vi), by inserting “, a housing cooperative,” before “a veterans organization”.
