## SEC. 309 DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION **[**[15 U.S.C. 636 note](/us/usc/t15/s636)**]** On and after the date of enactment of this Act, any loan origination application for a loan under paragraph
(36)or
(37)of section 7(a) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 636(a)), as amended and added by this division, shall include a means by which the applicant for the loan may, at the discretion of the applicant, submit demographic information of the owner of the recipient of the loan, including the sex, race, ethnicity, and veteran status of the owner.
