## SEC. 353 MODIFICATION TO LIMITATION ON LENGTH OF OVERSEAS FORWARD DEPLOYMENT OF NAVAL VESSELS **[**[10 U.S.C. 8690 note](/us/usc/t10/s8690)**]** Section 323 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 (Public Law 115-232)is amended— ####
(1)by redesignating subsection
(c)as subsection (d); and ####
(2)by inserting after subsection
(b)the following new subsection (c): > > ### “(c) Extension of Limitation on Length of Overseas Forward Deployment for U.S.S. Shiloh (CG-67) > > Notwithstanding subsection (b), the Secretary of the Navy shall ensure that the U.S.S. Shiloh (CG-67) is assigned a homeport in the United States by not later than September 30, 2023.” > .
