## SEC. 1006 PROHIBITION ON DELEGATION OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUBMITTAL TO CONGRESS OF OUT-YEAR UNCONSTRAINED TOTAL MUNITIONS REQUIREMENTS AND OUT-YEAR INVENTORY NUMBERS Section 222c of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####

(1)in subsection (a), by striking “subsection (b)” and inserting “subsection (c)”; ####

(2)by redesignating subsections (b), (c), and

(d)as subsections (c), (d), and (e), respectively; ####

(3)by inserting after subsection

(a)the following new subsection (b): > > ### “(b) Prohibition on Delegation of Submittal Responsibility > > The responsibility of the chief of staff of an armed force in subsection

(a)to submit a report may not be delegated outside the armed force concerned.” > ; and ####

(4)in subsection (c), as redesignated by paragraph (2), by striking “subsection (c)” in paragraph

(6)and inserting “subsection (d)”.
