## SEC. 1405 STAFFING FOR COPYRIGHT ROYALTY JUDGES PROGRAM ###
(a)Removal of Cap on Personnel Chapter 8 of title 17, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)in section 802— #####
(A)in subsection (b), by striking “3”; and #####
(B)in subsection (e), by striking paragraph
(2)and inserting the following: > > #### “(2) Staff members > > Staff members appointed under subsection
(b)shall be compensated at a rate not more than the basic rate of pay payable for level 10 of GS-15 of the General Schedule.” > ; and ####
(2)in section 803(e)(1)(A), by striking “3”. ###
(b)Effective Date **[**[17 U.S.C. 802 note](/us/usc/t17/s802)**]** The amendments made by this section shall take effect with respect to fiscal year 2020 and each fiscal year thereafter. # TITLE XV SENATE ENTITIES
