## SEC. 818 REVISION OF REQUIREMENT TO SUBMIT INFORMATION ON SERVICES CONTRACTS TO CONGRESS ###
(a)Revision Section 2329(b) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)by striking “October 1, 2022” and inserting “October 1, 2021”; and ####
(2)in paragraph (1)— #####
(A)by striking “at or about” and inserting “at or before”; and #####
(B)by inserting “or on the date on which the future-years defense program is submitted to Congress under section 221 of this title” after “title 31”; ####
(3)in paragraph (3), by striking “and” at the end; ####
(4)in paragraph (4), by striking the period at the end and inserting “; and”; and ####
(5)by adding at the end the following new paragraph: > > #### “(5) > > be included in the future-years defense program submitted to Congress under section 221 of this title.” > . ###
(b)Briefing Requirement on Services Contracts Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, and every 180 days thereafter until the requirements of section 2329(b) of title 10, United States Code, are met, the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) and Director of Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation shall brief the congressional defense committees on the progress of Department of Defense efforts to meet the requirements of such section, including relevant information on the methodology and implementation plans for future compliance.
