## SEC. 1403 NORFOLK HARBOR AND CHANNELS, VIRGINIA ###
(a)In General The Secretary is authorized to further improve the project for navigation, Norfolk Harbor and Channels, Virginia, authorized by section 201 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 (100 Stat. 4090), substantially in accordance with the plans, and subject to the conditions, described in the Report of the Chief of Engineers dated June 29, 2018. ###
(b)Thimble Shoal Channel Widening The Secretary may carry out additional modifications to the project described in subsection
(a)that are identified in the report titled “Report to Congress on Future Water Resources Development” submitted to Congress on February 5, 2018, pursuant to section 7001 of the Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014 (33 U.S.C. 2282d). ###
(c)Maximum Authorized Cost Notwithstanding section 902(a)(2)(B) of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 (33 U.S.C. 2280(a)(2)(B)), the maximum authorized cost for the project described in subsection
(a)shall not be modified for the improvements and modifications authorized by subsections
