## SEC. 6418 PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FEES FOR GUARANTEED LOANS UNDER THE CONSOLIDATED FARM AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT ACT Section 333 of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 U.S.C. 1983) is amended— ####
(1)by striking “and” at the end of paragraph (5); ####
(2)by striking the period at the end of paragraph
(6)and inserting “; and”; and ####
(3)by adding at the end the following: > > #### “(7) > > in the case of an insured or guaranteed loan issued or modified under section 306(a), charge and collect from the lender fees in such amounts as to bring down the costs of subsidies for the insured or guaranteed loan, except that the fees shall not act as a bar to participation in the programs nor be inconsistent with current practices in the marketplace.” > .
